Tästä TRIM51 ei ole ihmistä koskevia kliinisiä artikkeleita. Geeni kuuluu TRIM-klusteriin ja on ilmisesti kromosomi 11 geenipankin yksi  evoluution alainen geeni ja sijaitsee lähellä sentromeeriä. Rakenteeltaan tämä TRIM51 on luokittelematon ja sen toinen nimi on SPRYD5, joka viittaa C-terminaaliseen SPRY-domeeniin . Geenitietueen informaatio liitetty.
Yleistä evolutionaalista  geenitiedetä koskevaa  on liitetty tähän tyhjään kohtaan  PubMedissä - teksteisä saa käsityksen näiden genien evoluutionalaisuudesta.  Ehkä niitä on varalla uusia haasteita odottamassa.
